HARY POTTER ENGAGEMENT

The Mis-Spelling was caught before the card was given!

I was asked to make an engagement card for some Harry Potter fanatics. Being a Harry Potter fanatic myself, I had a good idea what I wanted to do. Any Harry Potter fan knows (Spoiler Alert) that Harry lives Happily Ever After with Ginny in the end. So it is only fitting to have an engagement card based around this. I used primarily the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge. For the Front of the card I used the Snapshot Nature Imagine Pattern Cartridge for the Dark Cloud Backgrounds. For the castle i used the Paper Doll Dress Up and cut it on brick paper from the Snapshot Texture Imagine cartridge. I took the castle and darkened the it using my black ink pad and a sponge blot. The top of the castle i took some black chunky glitter and glued it to each of the peaks. On the cauldron i took some cotton balls and tore them ups and gave the potion a "bubbly" effect. The sentiment was printed on my computer and then i took brown, tan and khaki ink and blotted the edges. I framed them in coordinating paper to make them pop. Both of the Characters were made the same way. I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Paper Doll Dress Up to create them. This card had a lot of work out into it, but the happy couple loved it so much that they made it part of the wedding reception!

Instructions For Harry:

1) Start with the paper doll base.

3) The Gown is the Bath Robe. Once printed out you will have to trim it on each side to make Harry's jacket and pants to show through. Make sure you draw the gold "prefect" on their gowns. (You can also use Graduation Gown For longer Gown):
