This card was so much fun and so fitting for my niece. She has collected piggy banks since she was a little munchkin. Whenever she takes a trip she buys a piggy bank and our family always picks her up one when we are on trips or for holidays! Well since she has a ton of piggy banks I wanted to do something different. So i cam up with this card so i could still give her a piggy bank but with a twist. I used coordinating paper stock from DCWV. I scrap-lifted the poem from somewhere on line. The front of the card i took a metal border and framed her name in and secured it with some white brads and highlighted it with some pink flower ribbon. As for the pig and happy shopping sentiment, i used the Wild Card cartridge. I used a black brad for the eye and cut a slit in the piggy bank back. I then used foam squares to raise the pig up. I folded a $20 dollar bill and put it where the paper is. I decorated the card with fabric flowers and hearts. I used an my crop-a-dile to put an eyelet on the bottom. I put a pink ribbon through the bottom so I could tie the card shut. This could easily be made for a boy using blue color theme.
