This card was a BLAST to make. Up here in Spokane....we are what you say.....a litttle crazy about....WSU!! My friend requested a special card for her nephew. He had just been selected to play for the Washington State University Cougars football team. She wanted a birthday card for him that somehow incorporated the WSU and football. I knew exactly what i wanted to do. I wanted to make sure to get the colors just right and really go wild on the silver! On the front i used a silver background from my DCWV "All dressed up. I took my birthday sentiment from Martha Stewart Birthday Cake Art Cartridge. I used my Sharpie Metallic Marker to give it a chrome look. I then stuck it on my crimson paper with foam stickers. I added a little bling with some diamonds and metallic Stars. The inside is where i really got creative. I made the football field using green paper and used white out tape for the yard lines. I printed the WSU Logo and Cougars Logo on my photo printer. I used 3 birds on parade for the "all american star" sentiment and Sports Mania for the football. I also raised this up using foam squares.and tilted the sentiment on the same paper as i used on the front.
