Well it is summer and we all know summer is the season for weddings. Earlier in my blog you saw the cards I made for a groom and a bride to give to their parents, well this is the card i made to give to them. I wanted to make a cute card with a touch of class. This card was so much fun to make. On the front I used the Sweethearts cartridge for the wedding car and the Just married sentiment. I got the beer cans from the Fathers Day seasonal cartridge. I took some white thread floss and affixed them under the bumper and then raised the cans up with foam squares. I took red and blue paper and broke it up with a white threaded black ribbon. I used my Making Memories tag maker and gave the Just Married a little sparkle. I took some color matching buttons and glued red heats inside the button. I gave a joint gift from some people at my work. On the top of the inside of the card i just used the same coordinating paper and built it up to the gift card. I took black ribbon around the gift card and finished it off with a bow. I raised the gift card up with foam squares. On the bottom of the inside I found some nice paper with the black flower already printed on. I took a border punch on the top to make the small daisies and put black paper behind that. I put the same black ribbon along the bottom of the border and used some of my metallic candi embellishments. I wrote the poem and backed it with the same blue metallic paper that i used on the front for the card. I finished it off with some simple flowers. I also used some eyelets and closed the card using black thread tied in a bow.

I really like your wedding card. My son is getting married in Sept. and I was planning to do a more serious card, but have changed my mind after seeing yours. It is so cute and will bring a chuckle to their faces. I even have the two carts you used, so I am set.

That is a fun and unique card. Love the beer cans on the bumper! What a special keepsake for the happy couple!
