BIRTHDAY DOODLES

So September is crazy birthday month in our family! I have a niece, nephew, sister-in-law, brother and mine to celebrate!! So i have to make 4 cards and this is the one that will kick it all off. I wanted to make a birthday card for my niece who recently fell in love with drawing and we found out how good she really is! So i decided to use my Imagine Notebook Doodles cartridge. I have been dying to use this cartridge since I got it. Now is the perfect time. The card is a 5X7 royal blue. I cut the pattern paper using a 5X7 preloaded rectangle that is pre-loaded on the imagine. I cut it at 4.7. I then took my new gel pen's made for the Cricut. This was also the first time using these and I have to say I am very impressed with them. I used TBBM2 for the happy birthday sentiment. I used the red gel pen and Happy Birthday Sentiment. I backed this with the same royal blue as the card and used foam squares to POP it up. I then added some green and yellow flower embellishments. On the inside I used the same Notebook doodle cartridge to print the graph background paper at 4.7/ I printed the Printed paper at the 12X12 settings and cut out all the images that i wanted to use from the pattern paper. I wrote the sentiment "To the artist of our family" and used foam squares to raise up some of the clouds and the buildings. I have to say i feel in love with this cartridge!!
