SUPER MARIO BIRTHDAY

So this is the second card I made for my Birthday Extravaganza! This is for my nephew that is a huge Super Mario Fan. Since Cricut does not have a cartridge for this, I had to get creative. On the front I used the Best Friend cartridge for the cloud pattern paper and cut it at a 5X7. I then used Everday Paper Dolls to make Mario and Luigi. Mario is Cut at 3.75 base and I used the train operator clothes for the overalls, shirt, shoes, hat and the gloves were from the snow boarder. I got the mustache from the wise men on Paper Doll Dress Up. I hand painted their eyes and used markers for their hair. I used tiny yellow buttons for their buttons on their overalls. I used foam squares to raise up their nose and hats to give a dimensional look. Luigi was used making all the same cuts, but at 4 inches. The star I got of the Imagine images that are pre-loaded. I used a fiskar border punch to get the border with stars and backed it with some yellow card stock. I then took some blue stickles glitter glue to dress it up. I used the Wild Card 2 font for RYAN and also used stickles glitter glue here to dress it up. On the inside I used my cuttlebug to create the star paper and then used Martha Stewart glitter pens to color the stars. I used the same font from the Wild Card 2 for the word super. I then took my making memories tag maker to give it a glitter red border. I dressed the sides of the card with layered coordinating color paper dressed up with punches, stars and candy embellishments.
