I had a friend who requested a card for her Grandma. She was turning 95 and she had bought her a photo album which featured a family tree theme...so she wanted a card to match this. I made this card using the Elegant Edges cartridge and the Wild Card Cartridge. I cut the background of the front of the card using the elegant edges cartridge at 4.25". I used the Wild Card cartridge for the tree. I then applied brads to the four corners and two gold flowers at the top and the bottom of the card. I recently bought the I-Rock kit from Michaels and used this to affix the gems onto the branches of the tree. On the inside I used a Fiskar's punch for the leaves at the top and bottom of the card and the raised the saying up with foam squares. I used gold bakers twine behind the saying. I finished the bottom off with another gold flower and two gems to each side of the flower using my I-Rock heater.
