Well this month Dr Phil Scraps and his design team are featuring the new Cricut® Artbooking Collection. Well I am in LOVE with this cartridge. Everything you need to create mini-books or layouts is all in this cartridge. Everything is even perfectly sized for you.

Well I decided to make a mini book for my best friend who just had the blessing of welcoming a little monkey into her family. This was a perfect time to use the Cricut® Artbooking Collection along with the Babycakes Paper Packet and the Wild Wonders stamp set. All elements for this project were taken from the Cricut® Artbooking Collection and the majority of the project features cuts from pages 50-51.
Last week I featured the first 4 pages of this mini-book project. Today I would like to share pages 5 & 6 with you. Next week on Thursday I will be finalizing this mini-book as a complete project which will also feature the binding of the book using my cinch system, so make sure you visit back next week to see the finished project.
Here is page 5 from the mini-book album. If you saw the project last week you will remember that this project will feature pictures every month of the baby. This page features the 7, 8 and 9 month old picture. The page cut come from the Cricut® Artbooking Collection found on page 40. I flipped this page upside down to have the 3 flags appear at the bottom versus the top since I already have the word "BABY" sticking out on page 3 & 4. Behind the monkey you will see the overlay which is featured on the Cricut® Artbooking Collection on page 84. Everything was sized at 8 inches as recommended in the cartridge booklet. I took all the differnt colors featured in the Babycakes Paper Packet and glued them on the back of the overlay. I used the two frames and arrow that came with the Cricut® Artbooking Collection package from Close To My Heart. I used some glitter glue to dress the frames up. The arrow features the word "TOO CUTE" which comes with the Wild Wonders stamp set.
This just showcases the monkey stamp that came with the Wild Wonders stamp set. I used some brown glitter glue to give the effect of fur on the monkey and raised him up using foam squares.
The back of this page is Page 6 of the baby mini album. This features the 10, 11, and 12 month old pictures.
So there is the pages 5 and 6 of the Baby Mini-Album that is featuring the Cricut® Artbooking Collection. I am having a blast using this cartridge. This cartridge has so many different projects and ideas that it has easily become my go to cartridge for many projects. Make sure to come back next Thursday to see the last 2 pages in this Baby Mini-Book. I will also have the binding done at that point as well.
