A VERY MERRY CAMEO MOOSEMAS

Well Christmas is just right around the corner and that leads me to a couple of truths. Christmas decorations will be going up and I will be in my crafts room a lot. So I thought I might as well get ahead start and mix the both of them and so I came up with this. So to start off the Christmas season Ken's Kreations Proudly Presents

I love to decorate my Silhouette Cameo and I have had my jungle animals on there since i first got my machine. Well it was time for a change and these guys were perfect. So I started with the control panel which is one of the included shapes you all get with your machine. I cut these in a red/white glitter paper. If you do not have this shape or need to download this shape you can get it here:

Of course Christmas would not be the same if you did not believe in the magic. I got this sentiment from the Silhouette Online store. It comes as a layered designed, however I filled it in with colors to match all 3 of the moose and then decided to print and cut it instead. I then used coordinating stickler glitter glue to give it that Christmas sparkle:

Then comes my favorite part of my Kreation….the main event…the moose!!! The first little guy is getting his christmas present ready for the big day. All three of these little guys are print and cuts and can be found on the Silhouette Online Store. This guy features Burgundy Glitter Glue, Mistletoe Glitter Glue and White Enamel Accents. I used some glue and good old cotton balls for his santa hat. The white enamel accent is used on his checks and the dots on his eyes. He is raised up from the Cameo machine using white foam squares.

This little fellow is decorating the tree in hope that Santa clause will come early. He was made using the same process as his friend up above. The only difference is the colors of glitter glue. He had True Blue, Cranberry, Yellow, Green, and Red. I also used a gold and silver metallic pen for the top of the ornaments and the star on top of the tree.

Last but not least is this little gal. She is just filled with J-O-Y! She also was prepared using all the same process as he two brother up above. She had red glitter glue and mistletoe glitter glue on the wreath. However she was lucky enough to have rouge liquid pearl on the letters J and Y.

Well I hope this little project fills you heart with as much J-O-Y as it does mine. This has really got me ready to get going on my other Christmas projects. Thanks for looking today!

  1. Love these! I didn't know I could print and cut out layered cuts - duh. I am gonna have to go look through my library! Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. I cut out the mistletoe moose twice and clipped off his antlers, the ornaments and bow/mistletoe sprig and layered them on the whole moose. Wish we could have cut the layers separately but this worked so well for me that I have to get the other 4 in the set. Great job, Ken!

  3. After seeing how cute your project is, Ken, I had to purchase all 5 of them too! They are so adorable!! Can the pieces of these be separated? If so, how? I tried to "ungroup" but I was only able to ungroup once and that didn't separate the pieces.

  4. well I am sad that I do not have my Cameo yet, but can not wait. I will have to decorate it for next Christmas. Do you decorate your Cameo for different holidays? I may have to try that. I guess you also added the strip behind the moose?
