It looks like Silhouette Cameo has a new product coming and it looks very interesting!! It is called PIXSCAN and here is the write up:

Use the PixScan mat with your Silhouette electronic cutting tool and Silhouette Studio software to cut precisely around a printed design or when you need to position cut lines in a specific location on your material. It's as easy as 1-2-3! 1. Place your material onto the PixScan mat. 2. Capture an image of the mat and material using either a scan or a digital camera (you can even use your smartphone). 3. Import your image into Silhouette Studio and add cut lines as desired. Your Silhouette will recognize registration marks on the PixScan mat and cut your material just as you've indicated in Silhouette Studio. It's a great way to use stamps, hand sketches and pre-printed images. 8.5 inch x 11.5 inch cutting area. For use with the Silhouette CAMEO. From my research it looks like the price point for 1 mat will be 14.99 USD. So in an email i just received it looks like Silhouette America has also released some other interested new products! They have finally released that some people would like to use a wide variety of pens that they have in their craft rooms and have given us an universal pen holder:

Now I am not sure what to think of this...Since I had major issues with V3 of the Silhouette Studio Software so I think i will wait to see what this offers before I jump and pay 99.99 and have a major headache!!
