Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations.
So every year my Partner and I host Thanksgiving, and this year I wanted to make something special for each plate. I wanted to create a place setting with every guests name, however I wanted to also give my guests a little "treat". Here is what I came up with:
The place setting has a nice Candy box filled with goodies and some nice decorative flowers. Here is a video on how I created these amazing place settings, and below I give you even more instructions!
So for these fun name plates I started with the We R Memory Keepers Candy Box Punch Box in coordinating paper colors. Once I had the template set I tied the end of the box with Baker's Twine and filled the candy box with these goodies:
You cannot tie off the other end with Baker's Twine and move onto the actual name tag. I used the Scalloped Oval Spellbinders and my Cricut Cuttlebug to make the name templates and wrote the name on them. I used Foam Tape to lift the name plate on the candy box.
Now we can look at the decorative flowers that were laid on the plate. I used the CTMH quilling tool and the following flower templates from the following exclusive Close To My Heart Cartridges: Art Philosophy, Artiste and Artbooking.
