CUTTING METAL WITH CUT'N'BOSS

Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations

Well Monday I debut my Cut'n'Boss Review  on my YouTube Channel and the response has been amazing! So this entire week I will be focusing on this machine and all that it can do! Yesterday we took a look to see how well the machine did with a wider variety of metal dies. Did you miss this post? Worry not!

In this video I show you how the Cut'n'Boss works, a few projects, tips and my overall impressions of this machine.

Now in today's post I wanted to show you can use Metal Sheets with Cuttlebug Embossing Folders to create metal backgrounds. You can also use Vintaj Embossing Folders with Cricut Metal Shapes to create custom fun charms.

TIM HOLTZ METAL CARD

In this first project I took the Cut'n'Boss and used the Metal Sheets  in place of the paper and used the Tim Holtz Honeycomb. I was able to then place the different colors of metals in the diamond shapes. I wrapped twine behind this and. On the right hand side of the card I took Cricut Metal Shapes and ran them through the Cut'n'Boss with my Vintaj Embossing Folders and raised this up using Foam Tape.

 METAL THANK YOU CARD

Well as soon as I started playing with my Cut'n'Boss and Metal Sheets I was HOOKED. So I made another sample for all of you peeps! This is a thank you card from a new home owner to thank people for gifts. I took the Cricut Metal Shapes in different shapes and ran them though the Cut'n'Boss with my Vintaj Embossing Folders. I took some  twine and tied a bow around the key and raised the Thank you and key up with Foam Tape

ADDITIONAL EXAMPLES

Imagined making a metal background for a card. Simply stunning. This is super easy, just take an Adhesive Metal Sheet and put this into any embossing folder. In the example above I used the Cricut Cuttlebug Love Is In The Air embossing folder and ran that through my Cut'n'Boss

Now how fun would it be to make your own customer metal charms. You can use these in projects or even in jewelry. This is really easy to do with your Cut'n'Boss. In the above example I used the Cricut Metal Shapes and a mixture of the Cricut Cuttlebug Love Is In The AirVintaj Embossing Folders and Skeleton Damask Folder and ran these though my Cut'n'Boss. Easy as that you ahve some fun custom charms.
