Hey Everyone! Ken here Ken's Kreations and I am so excited to share with you a fun Superman Card. This card is very personal for me. I made it for my pseudo nephew who had to literally become Superman the day he was born. You see this little boy was born with Hirschsprung's Disease, which put him in the intensive care unit right after he was born. If you are not sure what this RARE disease is you can check out it by CLICKING HERE. So this little boy quickly became Superman right before our eyes and is still fighting the villain to this day. When his first party arrived, I wanted to make something extra special for him! Make sure to see the inside "after the jump"
I love how this card on the outside shows a business man, and then the tri-fol card opens up to reveal our superhero! Now, I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 for this project and designed the card myself. If you would like to get this file, please follow this blog and then CLICK HERE. Once you have the file the actual card is very easy to put together.
1) Start by cutting all the pieces out on the File. Use Fine Tip Pen for the writing
*Not Due Cricut Design Space Restrictions I Could Not Save File With Superman Logo*
2) Run both front black panels through your Cuttlebug with a Stripe Embossing Folder
3) After the panels are Affixed to the card attach the other cut outs to the card
4) Using Gluedots, attach one Black Button to the right side of the front panel
5) Bend the fingers to the inside of the tri-card and use your Scotch Tape Runner to secure down
6) Take the blue base card on the inside and run the Stitched Rectangle Die through the Cuttlebug
7) Use Red Stickles on the Superman logo
Well I hope you enjoyed this card for a very special boy. He truly is a Superman in my eyes and I still refer to him every day as Super Benny!!
