HIPSTER MONKEY CARD

Hey everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations

So as many of you are, I am a huge fan of Tim Holtz. When Tim Holtz released the Crazy Series (dog, Bird, Cat, etc) I fell in love. Well, this year he shared with us the Hipster Animal Set, which at first I was not a fan of. However, this quickly changed when I saw the amazing things being created online. Today I am proud to show you my FIRST creation with these stamps.

I was not able to make a video on how to create this card, however, I will go over the supplies and steps to create this card.

1) I created an A2 size card and used Black Onyx for the base.
2) Using White Cardstock cut an offset to the black
3) I use Bristol Paper anytime I use ink. It is a thicker cardstock and blends really nice.
4) Using Tim Holtz Oxide Inks create your background.
5) Use Ranger Splatter Tool to flick Sparkle Silk and Picket Fence Paint on the background.
Here is a tutorial on how to achieve this:

6) While the background dries stamp your image onto Bristol Paper using the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform
7) Color the image using Real Brush Marker and cut out on the Brother ScanNCut2
8) Run Bristol Paper with the Speech Bubble Die through your Cuttlebug
9) Use the same process above that you used on background on this cutout
10) Stamp your Sentiment out onto this and place Black Twine behind this
11) Use Foam Squares to raise up the sentiment and to hold your Black Twine in place

Here is a close up to take a peek at:

I have listed all of the supplies I used to make this card down below.
