BEEFCAKE BIRTHDAY!!

I needed to make a card for my Sister-In-Law this year. As I have said in earlier posts the Imagine Greeting Cards Inside & Out is one of my favorite new cartridges. Here is what i did and a trick i learned. So the car above is a basic card project of this cartridge. I wanted to make sure that the inside of the card had color as well as the outside. So instead of trying to cut paper to match the design i went ahead and found some coordinating pattern paper on the cartridge and printed it on a white sheet of card stock. Then i could flip this paper over and pint the card and have it cut out. This way the coordinating pattern was already on the back side. I am sure many of you well rounded crafters know this trick.....but it just came to me while i was doing this card. So onto the card. On the front i took the man and printed an additional copy so i could put some foam squares to raise him up. Around the surprise i used a little bit of Martha Stewarts Glitter Glue and added some coordinating color gems to around him. On the Inside i took the pre printed sentiment and added glitter pen in all the colors. i took a pink piece of paper and embossed cupcakes using my cuttlebug A2 celebration folder. I then added some foam squares to raise up the sentiment. On the opposite side I got the cake from Birthday Bash and used some foam circles here. I used some stickles glue here and surrounded the cake with pretty gems that i used from the front.
