At my work we had a Race For The Cure walk here in Spokane, WA. One of my co-workers organized the whole event for our entire staff. I wanted to say thank you for all of her hard work. So I wanted to make sure this card had a lot of PINK and PINK Ribbons. This card was a "hoot" to make. Oh behave!! On the front of the card I took the Create-A-Critter Cartridge for the owl and the tree branch. The owls body textured was done by using my cuttlebug and the swiss dot A2 folder. The sentiment on the front was made with a variety of different items. The "thanks" was made using my Making Memories Slice Elite. The Min n Mingle cartridge for the slice was used to get the different letter shapes and fonts. The "4 giving a" was made using my Xyron Design Runner and the bubble font cartridge. I wanted to incorporate the yellow from the owls beak and feet, so i decided to color the 4 in yellow. The "Hoot" came from the Create-ACritter. Instead of putting leaves on the tree branches I opted to go with the PINK ribbon. I filled both of the "O"'s on the front of the card with flowers and a diamond. The inside I used the same coordinating colors as the front. The owls came from the Lite Hoot n Holler cartridge and the "for" and "hooters" were cut by my Making Memories Slice Elite. I ran the letters through my cuttlebug using the 3 different A2 embossing folders. I then used foam squares to raise the letters to different heights. I needed to make sure I had enough space for all my co-workers to sign, so i just put some ribbon with fabric flowers at the top of a blank yellow page. She loved it and we all walked to raise some money for hooters!!
