Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations!

I am here for a special Saturday post! I have been invited by Awesome SVG's for a Halloween Blog hop. Here is how it works:

Remember last year's Halloween Boxes?

Halloween is around the corner and I have an awesome blog hop to introduce to you this year's Halloween Treat Boxes!

For this event, Awesome SVGs is proud to feature some equally awesome bloggers that give you their take on some of these boxes. At each stop of the hop I hope you will be inspired by the creativity of these awesome crafters. I'm certain you will find great ideas for giving away candy this year.

To make things a lot more exciting, we are giving away prizes!!

So let's get started with my post for this blog hop! I choose to work with the Pumpkin Treat Box. Now I love these treat boxes but choose to turn mine into a decoration by using an LED Tea Light.

1) Start with the uploading the Pumpkin Treat Box SVG into Cricut Design Space. These files are already sized for you but you can make them as big or small as you like.
2) I cut the design out on Kraft Stock and used Black Licorice Stamp Ink to randomly stamp all over the Kraft Stock.
3) Now I wanted the pumpkins on the box to really stand out. I used some Washi Tape to block off the box around the pumpkins. Using Orange Inka Gold, I spread an ample amount onto one side of the pumpkins. Continue to rub the Orange Inka Gold to activate the bee wax and you are left with a nice gold shimmer wax finish to the pumpkins.
4) Do this to all sides using GreenPurple and Black Inka Gold finished.
5) With the Pumpkin Treat Box SVG you will get 4 panels for the inside of the box. I cut these out using Cricut Vellum,
6) Take the cut outs and run them through your Cut'N'Boss with the basket pattern from the Oriental Weave Cuttlebug Set.
7) Use Tim Holtz Mini Inks in coordinating colors to the Inka Gold and highlight the embossed raised part of the vellum. I used my Heat Gun to dry the ink.
8) Use your favorite Adhesive to adhere the panels on the inside of the box and then construct and glue side of box.
9) Insert candy or LED Tea Light inside the treat box.
10) Finish the box by wrapping Orange Twine and embellishments around the top of the box to close it.

  1. I'm someone who has lived a life seemingly in the background, I must say this final indignity I have suffered almost too much to endure. You see, I have been sickly and weak since the day I was born and doomed to go through all my life a weakling. I seemed to have always suffered from one illness or another and could never play with the other children as I so desperately wanted to. Mother always made such a big fuss over me, also, making the situation worse as the other boys teased me mercilessly after they saw it. I was browsing  the internet searching on how i could be transformed into a powerful when i came across the email of a man named Lord Mark. who was a VAMPIRE so I told him that I has always dreamed of becoming a  VAMPIRES, All i did was just to follow the procedure that i was been told, and i bet you that procedure I took change my entire life to something i ever desire, freedom, sickness free, pains free, fame, influence, connections and even more that i can. Thanks to Lord Mark. Do you want a life full of interesting things? Do you want to have power and influence over others? To be charming and desirable? To have wealth, health, and longevity? contact the vampires creed today via email: Vampirelord7878@gmail.com
