Hey everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations
I am so excited to share with you a card I made for my best friend for the arrival of her second baby! This card was inspired by a design from Omar Toro at Awesome SVG's! Make sure to check out his amazing blog. For this card I used the adorable Baby Bumps Stamp Set. Below the first photo I give you step-by-step instructions and the entire supple list down below.
1) Start with an A2 size card cut out of the teal colored paper from the Candyshop Cricut Cardstock
2) Using Cricut White Textured Cardstock with the James Cuttlebug Folder run these together through your Cut'N'Boss.
3) Cut about 6 inches of Teal Glitter Ribbon and affix this to the embossed cardstock using your Scotch ATG.
4) This layer can now be adhered to the teal layer also using your Scotch ATG.
5) Now we can focus on the shaker part of the card. Lets start with the shaker contents and the onsies. All of the elements came from the Baby Bumps Stamp Set. I stamped the images on Cricut White Textured Cardstock with Black Licorice Ink. I colored in the items using ShinHan Touch Twin Marker and cut the stamps using the Brother Scan-N-Cut.
6) The shaker pouch was made with by using the Journey Squares. Start by running a piece of Cricut White Textured Cardstock and run this with the Journey Squares through your Cut'N'Boss. This will be your base piece.
7) Around the perimeter of the square layer two strips of Scotch Fame Tape creating an enclosure for your shaker pieces.
8) Take a piece of Cricut Acetate Sheet and run this also with the Journey Squares through your Cut'N'Boss. Don't forget that Cricut Acetate Sheet has a protective sheet on it that will need to be removed.
9) Insert your shaker elements into the square. Peel off the tape from the Scotch Fame Tape and layer the square Cricut Acetate Sheet on top of the shaker enclosure. Now your shaker elements should be able to securely be shaken around.
10) Run a piece of the teal Candyshop Cricut Cardstock through your Cut'N'Boss with the Journey Squares. This will have small holes around the perimeter and will finish off the shaker enclosure perfectly. Use your Scotch ATG to affix this to the top of the shaker enclosure.
11) Now we can finish off the card with the sentiment. Start with Cricut White Textured Cardstock and using the Anytime Tag Set die through our Cut'N'Boss.
12) Using your Fiskars Stamp Press stamp the sentiment from the Baby Bumps Stamp Set and raise this up from the card using Foam Tape.
9) Insert your shaker elements into the square. Peel off the tape from the Scotch Fame Tape and layer the square Cricut Acetate Sheet on top of the shaker enclosure. Now your shaker elements should be able to securely be shaken around.
10) Run a piece of the teal Candyshop Cricut Cardstock through your Cut'N'Boss with the Journey Squares. This will have small holes around the perimeter and will finish off the shaker enclosure perfectly. Use your Scotch ATG to affix this to the top of the shaker enclosure.
