I am super excited to learn that I get to add yet another machine to my arsenal of cutting machines. Many of you know that I have owned and used both the Silhouette Cameo ( referred to as the Silhouette Cameo 2) and the Original Silhouette Cameo. For me I did not see a huge difference in these machines in my Silhouette Reviews. However, I am really excited to get my hands on the NEW Silhouette Cameo 3! That is right! Let's take a look at this new machine!

Now, when i first heard that Silhouette was releasing a new Silhouette Cameo, I was excited! However, since the Silhouette Cameo ( referred to as the Silhouette Cameo 2) and the Original Silhouette Cameo did not differ much, that excitement faded pretty quickly. Still, I have found photos of the new Silhouette Cameo 3 and it appears they have made some HUGE changes to this machine. Now this machine has taken some ideas from a competitor machine and incorporate those into the new Silhouette Cameo 3. Which competitor? Well when you see the new Silhouette Cameo 3 you will see many features that resemble that of the Cricut Explore. So does this make those machines equal? Well I have to wait to get my hands on the new Silhouette Cameo 3 so I can compare the two, until then let's take a peek at the new Silhouette Cameo 3.

Now I do not have the privilege of receiving this machine early so I have to wait until this machine is released to the general public to review and compare. However, I am already concerned that none of the features include more pressure. My biggest concern is that the Silhouette did not give its users more pressure to tackle the thicker media like heavy glitter paper. Without this pressure and fine-tuning of the cutting technology, I am concerned that the Silhouette Cameo 3 will still not give us the ability for precise cuts and the ability to cut thick media. Only time will tell until we are giving a preview of the machine actually cutting. I of course will try to get my hands on one as soon as possible to do my review and comparisons. As of right now it does not appear that Silhouette Cameo 3 has a release date, but I will keep you all updated!
