KOI DREAM CARDS

Hey, everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations!

Recently I posted a HUGE Fun Stampers Journey on my YouTube Channel. If you wanted to see this video you can CLICK HERE to watch this video. Part of this haul, you will see the collection called Mystic Romance, which features stamps that are inspired by embroidery stitching. I instantly fell in love with the collection, but one stamp set caught my eye. The Koi Dreams Stamp Set just spoke to me. So naturally, I wanted to feature it on one of my LIVE Make-It-Monday videos!

Remember this was a LIVE YouTube video. A couple of things to remember is that during the live feed I answered questions from viewers as I walked through the entire process. We try to state the question before answering it. This is a MUCH longer video than most of my other videos due to the LIVE nature and NO EDITING.

Below you will see other photos of the projects and all the supplies I used in the video. If you use these links, it helps support Ken's Kreations! This will bring more content to all of you! to find out ALL the ways you can support Ken's Kreations make sure you CLICK HERE.

Every time I host a Make-It-Monday project, I plan the project ahead of time and do a mocked up version of the card, and the other card is the one created LIVE during the broadcast. You can see the slight differences in the cards below. The one I created during the broadcast I wanted to focus on more of a traditional red/gold color you see in Asian culture. During the LIVE broadcast, I decided to use a blue/silver combo. I held a poll to which was the better one and it was surprising to me that most people were split.

Here is the BLUE/SILVER card we created during the LIVE video:

Here is the RED/GOLD "mock" card created before doing the LIVE video:

For this project, I mostly used Fun Stampers Journey product. However, during the video, you will see me use the NEW Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. This is a pretty amazing tool and I hope to compare this with the MISTI in the near future!

The shopping list LOOKS HUGE, however, I have listed ALL the supplies that I used for both cards so you had everything to make this card. Also, if you want inspiration on the die cutting technique I used, make sure to check out this AMAZING video from my friend Jennifer McGuire.

I have listed all of the supplies I used to make this card down below.
