WISH BIG LITTLE ONE

Hey everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations

Sometimes not ALL occasions are celebrations. I have found at times the hardest cards to make are the ones where we are at a loss for words. I often hear this with Sympathy cards, as many people struggle with making this cards. One of these occasions that I see often is the struggle for many women to conceive a child.  How do you make a card for that? Well, recently I have discovered the amazing stamps over at Lawn Fawn and they had the PERFECT set for this type of card. Let's take a look at how to make this card in today's post!

Creating this card was both emotional and personal. I have always dreamt of starting a family with my partner. We went to great lengths looking into surrogate, adoption and finally were accepted to be foster parents. During that time, we had the privilege of fostering many children. However, sadly none of these lead to adoption. In time, we found out how to raise our own family of golden retrievers, who technically we feel are our kiddos. However going through this experience opened my heart and empathy to the millions of women going through countless procedures in the hope of starting a family.

I had two friends both currently going through the rigorous process of looking into alternative ways to start a family. I wanted to make a card to give them encouragement to never give up on their dream and to reach for the starts. The Lawn Fawn Upon A Star Stamp Set was the perfect stamp for the message I was trying to achieve.

So let's take a peek at the video on how I made this card and the supplies I used.
Remember this was a LIVE YouTube video. A couple of things to remember is that during the live feed I answered questions from viewers as I walked through the entire process. We try to state the question before answering it. This is a MUCH longer video than most of my other videos due to the LIVE nature and NO EDITING.
