LEAVING FOR SEATTLE

Well I have posted enough shadow boxes....but yes there is more. What can i say I love shadow boxes!! But onto this card I made. So a little background is needed for this card. I live in BEAUTIFUL Spokane, WA. Spokane is known for hosting the 1974 World Fair which left spokane the Clock Tower you see in the first picture and the Pavilion you see behind it. At the time of the World's Fair the pavilion was covered, but wind and time have taken that away. So you could say that the clock tower and pavilion is what people think of when they think of Spokane. We are in the eastern side of Washington State and if you take Interstate 90 for about 4 hours you will be in Seattle. Well one of our tellers decided she wanted to go live in the big sleepless city of Seattle, so naturally i made her a card. I wanted to somehow incorporate Seattle into the mix so I cam up with this card showing her on her bike going from Spokane to Seattle. The front of the card I used my Making Memories Slice Elite and tag maker to write all three sentiments and make the I-90 sign and the couple on the bike on the inside. If you have never heard of the tag maker i highly suggest it! It is amazing!! On the Inside of the card is where the magic happened. I used the Destination cartridge for the inside. I found the clock tower by using the Big Ben (London), The Space Needle (seattle) and the pavilion I used the Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco). For the skyline i used the Las Vegas skyline also from The destinations cartridge. I used foam squares on the grass and clock tower to raise it up to give a dimension look. I used my Xyron Design runner for the In Seattle sentiment. It was a hit and I wish her all the best luck in Seattle!!
