So here is card 3 of the 4 I have to make for my Christmas in September . I wanted to make my sister-in-law a sophisticated and simple birthday card. I have had the Imagine Good Old Days cartridge for a while and have not had a chance to use it, until now. All aspects of this card used the Good Old Days. From the pattern paper to the actual designs. I started with a cream card stock base. Using the 5x7 rectangle on the imagine I printed the red(4.5), yellow(4.0) and blue(3.5) pattern paper using this rectangle.I printed off the happy birthday sentiment and used coordinating stickles glue to add glitter. I took some brown polka dot ribbon and using foam squares raised the birthday sentiment up over the brown ribbon. I also used foam circles on the HAPPY to raise it up to give it some height. On the inside of the card I printed the brown(4.5) polka dot pattern paper using the same 5x7 rectangle found on the imagine. I then printed the blue cheers pattern paper found on the Good Old Days at 4.0. Using this same cartridge I printed off the cake using the separate layers setting. I glued down the yellow plate and the candle background onto the card and then raised the cake up using foam squares. I found the sentiment stamp at Joanna and used brown ink matching the polka dot paper. I finished off the card with two yellows buttons, one to each side of the cake. I glued a little pink heart to the top of the yellow button.
