A MINNIE BIRTHDAY

A little kiddo in my life just had a birthday. She is the child of one of my closest friends and I have made such a special bond with her. Well like any 3 year old, she is addicted to Minnie Mouse. So naturally I made her a Minnie Mouse birthday card. On the front I cut Minnie at 3.5". This card was so much fun, especially since it was the first time i used a lot of my new products....Oh and the fact that I used my Cricut Mini for the first time. That little machine was worth the 50 bucks I spent on it. On the top of the card I used We R Memory Makers Sew Ribbon. This is one of my new favorite products. On the points where the ribbon was not showing i glued some paper flowers on that coordinated with the paper. To each side of Minnie I mad some brads using my new I-Top. This little tool is going to come in handy!! I used foam squares to raise up Minnie's nose and bow. I also used pink stickles to accent some parts. Onto the inside, on the top of the card I used my new Fiskars Advantage punch tool. You really need to check out this thing. This made the flower design on the top of the card. I used my new I-Rock to glue on the stones to each flower. Right above this I used the Mickey and Friends cartridge for Minnie's name. I used the new Cricut gel pins to give it a authentic look. On the bottom of the inside of the card I used the Just a Note cartridge that came with the Expression 2 Anniversary Edition. I used the I-Rock again for all the gems on the saying. Under that i used a fiskars punch for the starburst in the coordinating patterns. Then i finished it off using green letter stickers with my name. I used foam squares to give the sentiment dimension.
