I wanted to wish all of my followers a
HAPPY GOBBLE GOBBLE DAY!!!
Well every year my partner Sean and I host thanksgiving. He went to culinary arts school so he knows a thing or two about cooking. Well of course having gobble gobble day required invites to go out to 3 families. I was in a crunch for time so I had to come up with something quick. Here is what I did:
So I used the Autumn Celebrations, Word Collage and Elegant Edges cartridges for this card. On the front of the three cards I took a cream paper and cut it to the size of the card which was 7 inches. I then sized the Thanksgiving background on word collage and using the new Cricut Gel Pens had the whole thing wrote. I used the orange pen and if you have not used these...they are super easy and have a glitter affect to them. I then cut the three different images for the front of the card at 3.75 inches. I used foam squares to give the characters dimension. On the inside I found one of my favorite poems for this time of year and printed it out on white paper using my computer. I then tokk my fiskars daisy punch and punch the top and bottom and wove a maroon ribbon through it. I printed the the background paper using the same elegant edges as the poem at .50 inches bigger. On the bottom I printed the specifics for Thanksgiving and finished it off with some glitter leaves. I punched an eyelet using my crop-a-dile and then wove an orange string through it so the card could be tied shut. Thanks for looking.....Do I smell poop?? Do not worry that will make sense in my next post!!
