SANTA'S WATCHING

Okay it is official, I am back in the Cricut frame of mind. So I am a little behind so i will have to catch up. This is officially my first Christmas Card. This year I wanted to take a funny look at Christmas. My family has a great sense of humor and that is what we do when we get together. We make each other laugh. So making this card I started with the Dr. Check-up Cartridge. I used the boy laying down crying and cut him at 3.5 inches. I did not include the tear that is originally on the cut. I used foam squares to raise up certain parts of the boy to give him some depth. I then used (FOR THE FIRST TIME) Cricut Craft Room to Spell out the Sentiment..."Do Not Get Your Hopes Up". I used the Cuttin' Up Cartridge using the Serifs font. On CCR, I set the font at .5 inches high and the spacing at -5. This way it welded all the words. I used a nice green back and right above and below I took red Ric Rack and finished them off with tiny green buttons. On the inside I used the Winter Frolic Cartridge for the Santa at 4". Once again i used foam squares to give Santa Depth. I also used red glitter paper for Santa and both sentiments. I used the computer off of Locker Talk at 2.5". I hand wrote in the "XXX" and "www.xxxadult.com". I used the same cartridge for the sentiment "Santa knows where you have been on the Internet." I played around with the different sizes and moved around the text box so the entire sentiment is welded. Hope you enjoy it. Plus.....on another note....I have to say that i Loved using CCR!!
