GAME ON LAYOUT

Happy Thursday To All Of You!!!

This is Ken with another great project from Ken's Kreations. Today we are going to feature some new product form the Fall/Winter Close To My Heart Catalog and how to incorporate them into a fun "Game On" layout. I wanted to feature a layout using the paper and Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment.

This layout features Proplayer Paper Packet. This paper pack combines dark and rich black and grey and highlights them with bright colors of ruby and pacifica. I tried to incorporate multiple patterns and team them up with the coordinating colors to enhance the "complex" look of the paper.

The left side of the layout features the "Game On" aspect of the theme of gaming. I used the Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment for all of the embellishments with the exception of the frame highlighting the controller and the arrows pointing to the pictures.

I wanted to incorporate the fully charged sticker into the layout, so what better way to incorporate that with a game controller. To really highlight this piece I took a frame from the Cricut® Artbooking Collection and wrapped it in blue washi to match the pattern paper underneath. Then I finished the frame off using embellishments from the Proplayer Assortment. I used the punched out arrows from the  Cricut® Artbooking Collection and covered these in matching color washi and finished those off with stickers from the Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment.

As for the right side of the layout, I wanted to feature how intense and serious my foster kiddo was while he was playing. The machine of choice is the XBOX 360 and this page really shows his "game mode" Once again this page features all of the embellishments from the Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment with the exception of the frame, arrows and hexagon shapes.

Once again I used the Dimensional Elements that come with the Cricut® Artbooking Collection for the frame, hexagon shapes and the arrows. I took the hexagon from the Game mode stickers and used that as part of my background using these dimensional elements from the Cricut® Artbooking Collection. I wrapped the frame in coordinting washi tape and keeping with the hexagon theme I used two hexagon shapes from the Proplayer Assortment and layered some stickers from the Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment. I finished the arrows off using the same washi tape and used some more embellishment stickers from the Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment.

I love this Proplayer My Stickease® Assortment and it was a fun and quick way to finish a layout to capture those lazy days of summer.

Here are some of the products that were featured in this project:
