FROSTED VILLAGE CARD

Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations teaming up with Dr Phil Scraps to inspire you with another project.

Well Winter is upon us and we all know what that brings us….winter projects. Well Close To My Heart has brought us a great collection this year. Today's project brings us a great card featuring the Frosted Paper Packet Frosted My Stickease® Assortment and my new favorite stamp set the Christmas Village stamp set. These CTMH products really get me all warm and fuzzy and have really set the Christmas mood in my house. The Frosted Paper Packet color scheme was perfect for this card set. This card is a 3D theme and has 3 different layers and features 2 of the different houses from the Christmas Village stamp set. Here is the card all closed up.

I started with the Frosted Paper Packet and choose the best paper for the sky and snow. As for the two houses from the Christmas Village stamp set I choose the standard house and the Sweet Shoppe store. I used coordinating color inks for both of the houses. For the snow on the houses to give it the look of fresh fallen snow I used Stardust Glitz™ Glitter Gel. Both of the houses are raised up from the snow using 3-D Foam Tape. As for the tress….the larger tree is raised up front he smaller tress using the same 3-D Foam Tape and it is cover in Silver Glitz™ Glitter Gel. Below the houses I wanted to give the look of snow drifts, so I used a combination of both white pearl glass and Stardust Glitz™ Glitter Gel in different wave combinations to give the look of snow drifts.
For the cloud, I used some standard cotton balls and good old fashion glue. I found the perfect sentiment that I wanted to use for this card in the Frosted My Stickease® Assortment. It simply stated "SPARKLING"…how perfect!! Also in Frosted My Stickease® Assortment were two stars raised in the sky by 3-D Foam Tape.

The final two pictures I just wanted to illustrate how the card is a fully working card and does in fact open up. The first house moves forward revealing the full pictured second sweet shop and the trees which open to the back of the card where you are able to write your Holiday Message.

Once again I cannot tell you how much I L-O-V-E the Frosted Paper Packet and Christmas Village stamp set. I love Christmas and this paper and stamp set have really got me geared up for the Holiday Season. Stay tuned to next Thursday to see what Ken has "Kreated"!

Thanks For Looking Today!!
