Hey Everyone!! Ken here with KENS KREATIONS. So I am sure some of you know that this week I am currently in Maui enjoying some much needed time off. However I could not forget the most important peeps in the world, which is Y-O-U!! So I wanted to make sure to post some projects to hopefully give you some inspiration.
Now ever since the new CTMH CRICUT ARTFULLY SENT cartridge came out in September, I have been in L-O-V-E with it. This cartridge really is a car makers dream. The number one question I get about this cartridge is if it is worth the $99 price tag. The simple answer is YES, however take a look at the digital booklet and that should answer your questions. Because I have fallen in love with this cartridge and to give you all the most opportunity at winning the CRICUT E2 MACHINE, all of my CLOSE TO MY HEART projects this month will be featuring the CTMH CRICUT ARTFULLY SENT cartridge. . I love all of the different card options you can find on the CTMH CRICUT ARTFULLY SENT. This type of card is called a SCENE card and some people might refer to them as swinger cards. For all of the card stock in this project I used the fun and colorful CONFETTI PAPER PACK. The great thing about all CTMH pattern paper is it is double sided with a different image on the flip side. This is a great use for these type of cards as you can see in the photo above it gave a different pattern behind the sentiment, essential creating an offset for the sentiment. I used my CRICUT EXPLORE to cut the following images at 7":

For the inside of the card I used this POCKET CARD:
The great thing about the CTMH CRICUT ARTFULLY SENT is all of the "hard work" has been done for you and you can spend your time concentrating on the "fun stuff"...the designing!! After I had all the pieces cut our using my CRICUT EXPLORE and DESIGN SPACE, I turned my attention to the outside of the card. I used YELLOW STICKLES on the sentiment and attached it using my BONDING MEMORIES GLUE. I took a STAR and CIRCLE from the DIMENSIONAL ELEMENTS LINE and covered the circle in BLUE WASHI TAPE and the star in YELLOW WASHI TAPE. I raised the star up from the circle using some FOAM TAPE. I finished off this embellishment with a PINK GLITTER GEM.
I could now take a look at the inside of the card. I wanted to make a place where I could write a personal message using a white chalk marker. This was a perfect use for the POCKET CARD. I choose the confetti style POCKET CARD sized at 5". The pocket cards come with a standard back to them, so using my SCOTCH ATG. I inked the edges using WHITE DAISY INK. I wrapped some YELLOW BAKERS TWINE around the card and spaced 3 PINK GLITTER GEM evenly down the YELLOW BAKERS TWINE. I finished the card off by using some THISTLE STICKLES on the stars.
