Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations.
So recently I have found myself in need of a multi purpose camera that is able to film my youtube videos. Usually I have a camera man who is available to film most of these, however I have found myself sometimes in need of an option of a camera I can use solo. In all my research I found the best option was the Go Pro Hero 4 Camera's. In my research I found that GoPro released two different cameras in their 4 series. The GoPro Hero 4 Black and the GoPro Hero 4 Silver. So now I needed to research which one of these were better for my use. At first glance not much looks that different but the price:
However after taking a closer look I see some major differences in what I need. Below is the video I recorded going over both of these cameras and ultimately which one I decided to go with:
To See A comparison on the video quality check out this amazing video:
Lets Take A closer Look at the main differences:
The GoPro Hero 4 Black was really designed for someone looking for the BEST video resolution:
Now lets take a closer look at the difference in Video Resolution and Frames Per Seconds:
And for me the most important thing...Battery Life:
So after everything that I tested the video quality on the GoPro Hero 4 Black did not impress me enough to upgrade from the GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Plus the GoPro Hero 4 Silver comes with the built in LCD touchscreen display. You always have the option to purchase the LCD touch backpack and add it to the back of the GoPro Hero 4 Black, however that is an additional cost of 79.99 on top of the $100 already you have to pay to get the GoPro Hero 4 Black. Upon my research and according to amazon the general public is also choosing the GoPro Hero 4 Silver over the GoPro Hero 4 Black. What do you think? What is your choice of the current GoPro's?
Make sure to take a look at all the GoPro's below!!
