SCARY KITTY BIRTHDAY

Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations.

So the next card in my series is for my niece. I wanted to make her a cute yet funky card to make her laugh. This was a perfect time to use the Cricut Explore Print Then Cut feature.

So for this card I started with the card base. I found this card base on the Creative Cards Cartridge. For the raised template of the card I used the Happy Haunting Cartridge font to type "Killer" and then using the slice feature in design space I was able to "cookie cut" it into the template. I took my Red Sharpie and sprayed the edges using my Craftwell eBrush and lightly sprayed the entire card to give the look of what i call "dexter blood mapping". I took the blue wash tape from my We R Memory Keepers and put a strip at the top and bottom of the card over the red airbrushing. For the "Happy Birthday" I used the Frightful Affair cartridge. For this sentiment I turned on the shadow and used the Print Then Cut feature on the Cricut Explore. Using a dark grey Copic Marker and the Craftwell eBrush with the Copic Adapter to lightly spray some black specks on the letters. Once down with all of this I could turn my attention to Miss Hello Kitty.....she does look a little upset here. I used the Cricut Explore Print and Cut Feature with my Epson Artisan 1430 and printed it on 110 LB Card Stock. Once she was printed I raised her up with some Foam Tape and finished her bow off with some Red Stickles.

Hope you enjoyed my 2nd card in my september/october birthday series. Come back over the next few days to see the last two. Also don't forget to look agh this months CTMH Special and take a peek at all the supplies used in this card below.
