YOU & ME CARD

Hey everyone Ken here with Ken's Kreations.

I am so excited to show you a very fun card I made for a special friend in my life.

I made this card using mostly Close To My Heart Product

I started with the Hopscotch Paper Pack and cut the base (orange) at 5X7, then the teal at 4X6 and finally I cut a white pice out at 3.5X5.5. No I ran the white pice of paper through my Cuttlebug using the CTMH Dot Embossing Folder. Once I ran this through the  Cuttlebug I used the Smoothie color ink from the Whimsey Pigment Ink. I inked the edges and top of the embossed dots using a Ink Dauber. I really wanted the dots to stand out so I used the CTMH Liquid Glass to make them shine!
Now I can focus on flower. I used the stamp set Pretty Petals which is also a Cricut compatible stamp set. So I was able to use the Cricut CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out the flowers on my Cricut Explore. The stamp set tells you what size to cut these flowers so they are a perfect fit when you stamp them. After all of the Pretty Petals were cut out I could stamp them. I used the Sunset Stamp PadLagoon Stamp SetHollyhock Stamp Pad and Olive Stamp Pad. I separated each of these layers with Foam Strips
Here is a side view of the card to see how the flower was raised using Foam Strips.
To finish off the card I used some Olive Twine along the bottom of the card. I then took one of the dimensional elements from the Cricut CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge and inked the edges with the olive Pigment Ink. I finished the card off with the "ME & YOU" that comes with the Hopscotch Assortment.
