Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations.
Well I have a niece who is training to be a firefighter and for her birthday I wanted to make a very special birthday card for her.
For this card I started with the star base card from the Cricut Creative Cards Cartridge. I kept all the elements except the star in the center of the card. I substituted the star for the Firefighter Birthday Image.
Now for the two elements behind the Firefighter Birthday Image. I printed these using the Print Then Cut feature on my Cricut Explore Air using the Brother Monochrome Laser. I needed to use this printer since I wanted to foil these elements. Once I had them printed I used my Scotch Thermal Laminator with Red Deco Foil and Pumpkin Deco Foil. If you are not sure on how to use this technique make sure to check out this video:
Once the foiling was completed I was able to move onto the Firefighter Birthday Image. I also used the Print Then Cut feature on my Cricut Explore Air. This time I used the Epson Artisan 1430. I raised the Firefighter Birthday Image with 3D Foam Tape. To finish off the card I used the Candi Dots on each side of the card. I just love how this card turned out.
