8.5 X 12 CUT'N'BOSS EMBOSSING FOLDERS

Hey Everyone! Ken here with Ken's Kreations

Well Monday I debut my Cut'n'Boss Review  on my YouTube Channel and the response has been amazing! So this entire week I will be focusing on this machine and all that it can do! Yesterday we took a look to see how well the machine did with embossing metal sheets and charms. Did you miss this post? Worry not!

In this video I show you how the Cut'n'Boss works, a few projects, tips and my overall impressions of this machine.

Now lets take a look at a HUGE advantage of this machine. The ability to emboss large format folders. This machine has the ability to use 8.5 X 12 folders. The Cut'n'Boss comes with a few folders in the box already, however you can purchase both Craftwell Folders or Teresa Collins Folders. To use these embossing folders in the Cut'n'Boss you will need you D Plate, 2 A Plates. Also something to note is the eBosser plates will work in the Cut'n'Boss , On Amazon they state they are eBosser plates but actually when I got them they have been re-branded as Craftwell. Now these bigger Craftwell Folders or Teresa Collins Folders give you the ability to use in larger projects like scrapbook pages. They will cover a full 12 inches from top to bottom. You can still use them in your card making too. Let's take a look at two projects using these folders.

SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

The Craftwell Folders or Teresa Collins Folders are a MUST for scrapbook layouts. Since they are 8.5 X 12  they will cover a HUGE area of you layout. In the project I used the Delicate Dots folder and ran it through my Cut'n'Boss. I highlighted the dots with Tim Holtz Distress Ink using the Ranger Blending Tool. I found some Gold Twine to break up the center of the page. Now yesterday I showe dyou how you can emboss metal with the Cut'n'Boss, so I embossed some Foil Adhesive Sheets  using the Cut'n'Boss and Herringbone Cuttlebug Folder. For the sentiment I took some card stock from my stash and ran them through the  Cut'n'Boss using the Lil'Inkers Dual Stitched Rectangles and Lil'Inkers Embossed Dots. I stamped this with the Lil'Inkers Thumbs Up Stamp Set. I finished teh bottom of the page off with some washi tape cut at different lengths that I received with the We R Memory Keepers Washi Tape Dispenser. Such a fun and masculine page!

X-LARGE CARDS

Now this 8.5 X 12 Craftwell Folders or Teresa Collins Folders are not only for scrapbook layouts, as you can also use them to make X-Large Cards. I love making over sized cards for special reasons. On this card I took the Swirltangle 8.5 X 12 embossing folder and ran this through my Cut'n'Boss. I highlighted the dots with Tim Holtz Distress Ink using the Ranger Blending Tool in green. For the flowers I took the Perky Poises Lil'Inkers Metal Dies Set and also ran this thought the Cut'n'Boss in numerous colors and used Tim Holtz Distress Ink using the Ranger Blending Tool to highlight the petals. I finished the X-Large card off with the word "happy" from my stash. I just love giving X-Large cards and the Cut'n'Boss helps make that possible.
