WELCOME BABY GIRL CARD

Hey Everyone!! Ken here with Ken's Kreations

I am in love with the new OAK Tree Stamps Baby Bump Stamp Set. This stamp set is perfect for any baby project! What I love about this set is the interchangeable designs you can use on the babies onsies (See Photo Below).  Let's take a look at today's project:

So this project was super easy and fun to make. You can change the theme easily from Boy to Girl by using different colors of paper and using the boy icons in the Baby Bump Stamp Set. For this specific card I used my Cricut Explore and the square shape Free Designs in Cricut Design Space. I love the look of the new Anna Griffin's Washi Tape, so I wanted to use the  Pink and Grey Floral Patterns  this as my background/paper. Now of course the Anna Griffin's Washi Tape  is super thin, so I needed to have a neutral color to adhere to. For this purpose I used 12X12 Kraft Paper for the Washi Tape to adhere to. Both of these items can be found on the Smart Dial under the Custom Material
Now I was able to start my stamping portion of the process. I used the Onsie, Girl Icons, Girl, Baby Shower and Congrats from the Baby Bump Stamp Set. I used the MISTI Tool to align the different sentiments in the middle of the 12X12 Kraft Paper and stamped the sentiments with Ultra PinkSoft PinkMid-Tone, and Silver. After the ink was dried I took some Pink Yarn and tied around the center of the card and tied a bow of to the left side. I raised this part of the card up using 3D Foam Tape. I stamped the sentiment "Good Things Come In Small Packages" in Ultra Pink and inked the edges with Silver and finished this piece of with Pink Yarn and also raised the sentiment up from the previous layer with 3D Foam Tape

Now I could move onto my favorite part of the card the babies Onsie and Interchangeable Icons. I started with stamping the Onsie on four different color pieces of paper. I used the pink paper form the Wildflower Cricut Cardstock, the grey from the Southwest Cricut Cardstock and the white. I used the Ultra PinkSilver, and Black  ink to stamp the onsies and their coordinating icons. For these stamps I used my Brother Scan-N-Cut to cut out the images with a .04 offset. This is BY FAR my favorite reason to own this machine is the ability to perfectly cut around my stamped images. I embellished the onsies with the following items:

The Flower Onsie has Black Enamel
The Heart Onsie has Pink Stickles
The Diamond Onsie has Rhinestones

I also raised these onsies up using the 3D Foam Tape
I hope you liked today's Welcome Baby Girl Card. I am sure it will be a HIT for anyone you are making it for! For all of the products I used in this project check out the shopping list below!! Make sure you do not miss out on any Ken's Kreations Post! Follow Me Here:
