FAR OUT GROOVY CARD

Hello Wonderful Beautiful People! Ken here with Ken's Kreations! Well as many of you are aware, last weekend was Fathers Day and to be honest I wanted to make something different than a basic "manly" card for my dad! Anyways I wanted to bring him back to the good old decade of the 70's. So that was what I was striving for, however I am thinking he would have appreciated a card with Star Trek on it! Oh well, here we go!

So this card really does not have too many pieces or fuss to it as I wanted the card to focus on the colorful background. Because of this, the card was simple to make....however since I did not have certain supplies in my craft room it was a PAIN to put together. Why? Well lets chat!

So for this card I used the Lil'Inkers Paisley die with my Cut'N'Boss, which as you can tell cuts out a paisley design. Well instead of just putting this onto a piece of card stock, I wanted to cut out the inside parts using Bright Colored Astro Paper. Well I would normally use Dryer Sheets to accomplish this. However since I did not have these, it was the old fashion way of cutting it out and finding the right pieces of the puzzle. I used my Xyron Sticker Maker to adhere all the pieces to the cutout. This took FOREVER, but I am happy with the bright results. Once this was finished I stamped the sentiment from the Shiny Happy Sentiments onto White Card Stock using my Misti. PERFECT LINE-UP!! I stamped this with Fun Stampers Journey Black Licorice Ink which gives me the ability to use my Zigg Clean Real Brush Markers to match the colors with the Bright Colored Astro Paper.
