Well, I love the look of ombré cards but hate the process of trying to match the colors of paper. As many of you are aware I am in the process of remodeling my bathroom (so close to being done), and when shopping for paint colors for the bathroom it hit me! Paint samples have an ombré theme built-in. Now I am sure this has been discovered before, but for me, this was life-changing!! So I took some (okay a TON) of paint samples home and now I can share my secret with you!
Now this cards only took about 5 minutes each! REALLY!! The secret?
PAINT SAMPLES
That is right! Using paint samples has been my answered prayer to spending hours trying to find the right color combinations for my ombré cards! The work has been done for you and they are FREE!! Now I may have picked up a few (hundred) of these to have in my craft room and started to make some cards to have in my "Oh Shit" box. You know, for those times when you forgot to make a card and the party is in 5 minutes! So in this video I will show you how you can use these paint samples and Fun Stampers Journey Product to make these cards in less than 5 minutes!
I told you these cards were super easy! Here are each card and the products I used on them. Follow the video on how you can make your own ombreé cards! Don't forget to head to your local Lowe's or Home Depot to stock up on Paint Samples, and check back often as they get new colors in!
