Well, as many of you are aware, the week before Thanksgiving I was without power for 7 days. If you have not read this story you can read about this HERE.

11 years ago when my mom died, my two brothers and I split up the holidays and because Sean was a trained Chef we received Thanksgiving. Every year I take the week before and usually prepare all the food and decorate the table with floral arrangements, place settings and fun custom "pop" packages. Well, having no electricity caused me to go into a panic, and we made plans to move Thanksgiving to my brother's. Thankfully two days before Thanksgiving at 1:10 PM the power was restored. We were back on, however, I had not put ONE thought into my plans. WHAT WAS I GOING TO DO? Luckily I was able to pull everything together and finished with a BEAUTIFUL table in just 12 hours! BUT HOW?

Luckily I have a Cricut Explore! With any of the Cricut Explore family( Cricut Explore Air, Cricut Explore or Cricut Explore One) will automatically come with Design Space. Design Space has many cool features, but one of my favorite's "GO TO" features is the Make-It-Now Projects. Because of these two  Make-It-Now Projects, I was able to make 3 sets of pumpkins and 19 placards in about 3 hours using my Cricut Explore! I am not kidding when I said that this literally saved my Thanksgiving. I would have normally spent weeks designing, planning, and then executing my decorations for the table settings. But, without electricity and having just one day left before thanksgiving, I just did not have time. However, I still wanted my table to look nice and handmade for my family. My Cricut Explore teamed up with the Make-It-Now Projects, truly have become a MUST for any home!
